I've been sitting in bed or on the couch most of the day playing on the computer. I have some stomach bug/virus thingy. I'm really hoping it's not the flu!
This picture is of the 3 new things I listed on my lollishop yesterday! I've been on a good pace adding a few items to the store every few days. I'm really gearing up for the holidays. I wanted to do a post of the new items & now that I'm Addicted to Photoshop, I can't just plop a picture on there. What did I do before PSE :)
This is a picture of what I was planning on posting today before I went downhill. I'm excited as I haven't done rings in awhile & the crown pendant has been done waiting for a matching necklace. Hopefully I'll get those items up before the end of the week. I have the photos done, I just wasn't in the mood to write copy with body aches & a temp!
It's the end of Ramadan here, Eid Holiday, so I've had both of the boys home with me all week & we've been going out to keep them busy. It's been a bit of an off week at home. Hopefully some normalcy next week.

Thank You Katie
I've had the opportunity to take some great on-line classes this past summer. One of them is the Year of Color Blog by Kari Ramstrom. There are lots of tutorials for crafts, journaling, photography & home decor. Look at the goodies I won! They are adorable as a set & I plan to keep them together. Katie Runnels is the amazing artist that did the tutorial. She was sweet enough to give away her samples & she sent them all the way over here to me. Thank you for helping me make my house a home :)

Look What I Did!
I didn't want to go to bed last night, cause I was having a grand old time playing on Photoshop. I used some pre-made backgrounds I bought & silhouettes from Dover Clip art. (I'd love to post a link to the artist that made the backgrounds, but I can't find a live link for her! Don't you hate it when someone disappears.) I can't get over the cuteness. I even figured out how to dump some grey "paint" into the middle box. I think I'm going to print these up on some sticker paper & use them as embellishments on notebooks. These would look super cute on a canvas too. I have some 4x4 canvases on the way! Think of the possibilites - journaling, collages, pendants...

Shop Update
I've Finally re-opened my Lollishop! And it's about darn time :) I've been making all sorts of things the last few months. This summer I got big into the crochet necklaces & layering bits & journaling. I couldn't get enough, but apparently I have a lot because I have lots to add to the store. I added 4 new necklaces & a bracelet today. I plan to add a few new things each day.
Like the little collage above? I did it on Photoshop & used some stamps as the frame. How did I survive before Photoshop?
Here's a little teaser on the journaling stuff with more to come. I'm working on some books hopefully for the holiday gift giving season. I know it's only September & Halloween isn't even here yet, but I gotta start planning especially with my new shipping time frames.
Thanks for coming by to visit :)

Keeping Busy - New Creations
I've been slowly finding my creative juju. I pre-ordered Stampington's Art Journaling & received it last week. I was wondering how Stampington would be able to equal the first issue. I mean, hello, Pam Garrison!! It is one of my all time favorite issues they have published. Well 10 pages into the second one, I was hooked. Dina Wakley is on the cover & is absolutely fabulous. I have a serious thing for silhouettes & these are awesome! Can't wait for my art supplies to arrive on Tuesday!! I'm also reading Style Statement & that's a journal background, in the background. I just used bubble wrap for the first time - a little addictive!
I enjoyed taking pictures this summer. I took quite a few that have turned into some of my all time favorites. There was a tutorial on the YOC blog for cards made from photographs. Since I don't have all my crafting supplies, I just made the cards with what I had on hand. Thank you Zee for the inspiration! I plan to use the cards to write to family back home.
I also got my photograph done for the Lollishops ad in the December issue of Romantic Homes magazine. It's gonna be a pink & aqua Christmas. This isn't the photograph I ended up using, but one of the several I took.
Last but not least, I've been working on some new jewelry pieces. I just updated the announcement on my Lollishop that I'll be opening back up Monday Sept 14th. Goodie! I've missed my little shop. The picture above is of a new vintage pendant I've made. I think I'm just going to hang it from a simple chain. I love all the components on this pendant.

Peeks Into My New World
There is so much to discover in this new home. I constantly walk it & want to grab my camera. Today I did that. I love playing with the macro setting on my camera & shooting from different angles & perspectives. Sometimes all I have to do is look up.
I'm enjoying the architecture & the intricate scroll work. It's quite interesting that many of the buildings here are the same shape & in the same color family but each one still has a special detail. I'm slowly adding more pictures in my flickr album.
I've been journaling & doing some creative reading. I'll share some of that on the next post.
