Journal Entry

Here's the page I made for Lucy's journal project. I'm not very versed in computer programs, so most of it is made of my hand doodles and a few rubber stamps. It's amazing enough that I was able to get the type where I wanted it on the computer.
I've been playing around on PowerPoint, of all things, and making some smart ass comments with graphics to put on onesies. I taught myself how to make shapes, shade and make custom colors. It's fun playing with the font and all the colors. I'm kind of a scattered creative soul. I like to get my hands in 20 different pots, which is why I'm all over the place.
If you look over to the right, I've been accepted to SRAJD (Self-Representing Artist Jewelry Designer). I've been looking for some groups to align myself with and this one was an important one. It says I'm artist creating my own pieces and not a machine. There's a great list of other artists there. I'm proud to be one of them.

REVISED: There are still dates available. Lucy will probably keep it open until all the dates are filled.

This is so cute! I'm jealous, I've been trying to learn some kind of design program on the computer but I can't find the time! When I get another hour in the day (LOL!) I'm going to read through your blog and check out the blogs that you "stalk". I just added you to my fav blogs and also my fav sellers at Etsy. I love your jewelry and the picture frame you listed is fabulous! BTW, I bought the checkbook cover right after I posted it on my blog...it should be here anyday now (great minds think alike, huh?)! Talk to you later! Julie

Nerissa!!! It's me...Wendy!! (think FSU, Braves baseball obsession, Football AP/Coaches poll obsession, "borrowing" Bush & Clinton campaign signs...LOL) ! I can't believe I came across this! I'm so very happy to see you doing what you've always loved- and a mom to two beautiful boys. How awesome! We have to exchange emails and catch up! swnb17@hotmail.com
Your jewelry and frames are gorgeous! Score on some Christmas present ideas! Hope to hear from you. :-) Take Care.
