Here's the page I made for Lucy's journal project. I'm not very versed in computer programs, so most of it is made of my hand doodles and a few rubber stamps. It's amazing enough that I was able to get the type where I wanted it on the computer.
I've been playing around on PowerPoint, of all things, and making some smart ass comments with graphics to put on onesies. I taught myself how to make shapes, shade and make custom colors. It's fun playing with the font and all the colors. I'm kind of a scattered creative soul. I like to get my hands in 20 different pots, which is why I'm all over the place.
If you look over to the right, I've been accepted to SRAJD (Self-Representing Artist Jewelry Designer). I've been looking for some groups to align myself with and this one was an important one. It says I'm artist creating my own pieces and not a machine. There's a great list of other artists there. I'm proud to be one of them.
REVISED: There are still dates available. Lucy will probably keep it open until all the dates are filled.

Indie Sellers... Please Read This
Please go to Lucy's website & check out this project she is heading to promote indie sellers on the web. She will be making a 2008 journal with the artwork created by artists and their website listed for each day. I just signed up for my date (April 28th) and there are still some dates left. What an awesome way to get your name out there, see other's work, and be part of a really cool project. The due date is tomorrow, but since I just signed up it's been extended to the 15th. I'm still fairly new to Etsy and looking for fun, inexpensive (cheap), & creative ways to promote my store. I've just started reading and posting on the forums & it's such a wealth of information. That's how I found out about Lucy and this amazing opportunity. Now go take a look! I'll post my page when I'm done. I'm thinking paiselys, dots, and swirls. Should be fun.
