I also got my photograph done for the Lollishops ad in the December issue of Romantic Homes magazine. It's gonna be a pink & aqua Christmas. This isn't the photograph I ended up using, but one of the several I took.

Marie Antoinette Publication
Yea! Here it is! This has been a dream come true. I am actually published in full color. This sweet issue is Stampington & Company's Marie Antoinette publication. I was completely blown away when they sent me the article to proof. I was even a little crazier as I checked the mailbox. The entire family was home as I ran around showing my magazine.
I am in this publication with some jewelry royalty: Amy Hanna, Deryn Mentock, & Diana Frey. All I could think of was, "Are you kidding me?"

This issue is not to be missed. It is absolutely stunning. I couldn't put it down. (Yep, it hung out in bed with me for a few nights) The top 3 images are from the magazine.
My laptop is still being repaired, so I'm still on this slow poke of a computer. I hope to get a couple more pieces from my Ooh La La collection inspired by Ms Marie into the store. It's been a slow go of getting my pictures taken, edited, & listed.

Marie Antoinette Celebration
I am anxiously awaiting the release of Stampington & Co's Marie Antoinette publication. I received word in December that one of my jewelry pieces was going to be part of the issue & last month got the preview emailed to me to proof. I about fell over. I have 2 full pages in this issue. I'm honored to be sharing the article with 2 other talented artists. It's a dream come true.
I've been so inspired that I got an idea to make a OOAK collection inspired by Miss Marie. It will make it's debute in my Lollishop on April 1, the day the Marie Antoinette magazine is released. I'll be posting sneak previews here on my blog & on my flickr account.
Here's some inspiration of some of the charms I'm working with & a sneak peek of a finished piece.

Where Women Create ~ Where I Create
Love this magazine. As I do most all Stampington magazines. I have a bit of an obsession with them. My hubby understands it is an addiction with the number of titles I purchase at $15 a pop. I'm so excited that Lollishops is doing its advertising in these magazines.Within the last few weeks I've purchased Somerset Life, Somerset in Love, Art Journaling, Artful Blogging & Where Women Create. I can't say no. I might the first time I see the magazine, but the next time I normally talk myself into it.
Like the new blog background? It's from Rhonna's new venture House of 3. I'm in ♥ ♥ LOVE. I'm getting a new header too, but I need to figure out which one :) So many choices

Is This a Dream?
Are you kidding me? It's been so hard trying to keep this in. I remember when I got the email from Lisa Oceandreamer regarding this article. I was being considered for publication in Artful Blogging for being part of the One World One Heart giveaway. I read the email around 10:30PM & had to go wake my hubby up to tell him.
Shortly after I sent my link for consideration, I got an email from the editor, Stacy Dumoski, saying she wanted to take part of my blog entry regarding Artful Flogging (Yes flogging. Read the pic above to take a look at the link) Then a few weeks ago, she emailed me to ask me for my mailing address so I could receive my complementary copy. I still have that email in my inbox. :)Monday I went to the mail box & was completely stunned. I just wasn't expecting it already.
I just about teared up. It's been a dream of mine to get published. I'm still working on avenues to make my business work & well, being published is free marketing. I wasn't even trying to get in & it just fell in my lap. I'm so very blessed for all the opportunities that have come my way the last 2 years regarding my business. I still have this crazy notion in my head that this is going to work. I want my art to be my job. There's nothing else I want to do.
